Ride Tech has a reputation for creating high tech air controlled suspensions, but lately they’ve been hitting it out of the park in adding a bolt-in roll cage to their product lineup along with coil-over shocks and a myriad of other new products. To show off their products, and show how easy it has become to enter the world of Pro Touring, they’ve decided to build a relatively stock ’67 Camaro into a corner carving G-Machine in 48 Hours using nothing but bolt on parts!
Better yet, the entire build will be streamed live on their website, and as soon as the build is complete the Camaro will head to the Good Guys show in Nashville for a weekend of flogging.
They Camaro they’ve acquired matches the trend in Pro Touring well in that it’s a 1st Gen (67-69) Camaro. It’s a mostly stock, nicely restored car and will serve as the basis of the project. The build itself will emphasize the use of on bolt-on products such as the roll cage, coil over setup, steering column, seats and belts, wheels and tires, brakes, and few other areas.
What about what’s under the hood, you ask? Not to worry, as a fire-breathing LS based mill is in the works. It’ll all be shown live in beautiful HD, good or bad, and the proof will hit the pavement in Nashville.
