Some people may look at the calendar to determine when it’s officially the start of Spring, but we don’t. We go where it counts to make that call; the Goodguysevents listing webpage! The Scottsdale show was just held this past weekend, an the increasingly popular autocross was in full swing. Our pals at RideTech went out to do a little “test” work with their 600 horsepower ’69 Mustang fastback and did well enough to win the vendor class.
Their pal, Rob McGreagor from No Limit Engineering won the truck category using a set of new Ride Tech coil overs as well.
Ride Tech is famous for putting their mouths where their money is out on the race track, and they’re never afraid to go for the gold. They’re planning to build up a ’67 Camaro soon that will be debuted at the Nashville Good Guys show, but with a twist; it will be built in just 48 hours, and you can follow all of the action live on their website!
The Camaro is a solid car and had been restored once at some point in it’s life. The purpose of the build overall will be to emphasize the simplicity in use of on bolt-on products such as the roll cage, coil over setup, steering column, seats and belts, wheels and tires, brakes, etc.
Honestly, this kind of news is just what those of us that are sick of winter were waiting for. Hallelujah, spring is here!
