Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco Takes Home 2014 C7 Corvette

[1]In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you almost certainly know that last night was the Super Bowl, pitting the San Francisco 49ers against the Baltimore Ravens. While many people loudly proclaimed their disinterest in the game, it turned out to be quite the nailbiter.

In the end though, the Ravens, led by the strong arm of quarterback Joe Flacco, managed to beat out the 49ers 34-31. Flacco was named the MVP of the game for throwing four touchdown passes, and for his efforts he was awarded a 2014 Corvette Stingray from a local Chevy dealership.

The Chevy Corvette has been a traditional prize for the MVP, with New York Giants’ quarterback taking home a Centennial Edition Corvette after his Super Bowl victory last year. This year Banner Chevrolet, owned by Flick Banner, delivered the 2014 Corvette Stingray to Flacco, as Chevy was once again an official sponsor of the big game.

This makes Flacco one of the first Corvette C7 owners in the world, though when he actually takes delivery is anybody’s guess. With 450 horsepower, 450 ft-lbs of torque, and a sharp new shape to drool over, the 2014 Corvette is definitely at the top of the must-have list for any MVP quarterback. Congrats to Mr. Flacco and the Ravens. To the rest of the NFL? Better luck next year.
