In the automotive industry, manufacturers and companies are always interested in the latest and greatest technologies, products and looks for their cars.
However, over at Moparts.com, forum members are taking a look back to the good ‘ol days, the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, by finding and posting images of Mopar factory assembly lines.
Following the initial request for images, forum members posted up over a dozen vintage photos. It looks like the guys and gals over at Moparts.com are enjoying looking back to the times of Mopar greats like Chargers, Road Runners and Daytonas.
From images of assembly lines and complete cars still waiting to be transported from the factory, to car lots and conventions, many aspects of the Mopar scene are represented in the nostalgic photos.
There are even color images of Mopars being transported via train posted on the forum by a member who took the photographs himself back in 1970. Some of the coolest photos are of rows of Superbirds sitting in a dirt lot waiting for dealership delivery.
While some of the images are a bit grainy and some look like snap shots, most of the shared images mark neat points in automotive history.
We want to express our thanks to forum member “Turbo” for pitching a great idea and all the forum members for posting up the great photos. We really enjoyed seeing where some of the Mopar greats came from.
