It’s the Final Countdown ladies and Gentleman as the March Musclecar Madness moves into the last round. The final round narrowly missed being a repeat Blue Oval showdown like last year. The Boss 429 and the KR8 Tasca Mustang were eliminated leaving this final match up a Bowtie vs Mopar showdown. Our two ferocious finalists are the 1969 Yenko Nova 427 vs the 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda.
1969 Yenko Nova 427
Smaller in stature and size, it’s safe to say that the Nova began this tournament as the underdog. Despite this, this little Chevy has managed to leave bigger opponents sitting in the dust. While it may be small, the Yenko Nova packs a massive punch with 427 cubic inches of Detroit Iron that produce 425 horsepower. It can use this power to perform a 0-60 of four seconds making it one of the quickest Yenkos. Does this bowtie street beast have what it takes to win it all?
One of the most beloved Mopar muscle machines of all time. With it’s shaker hood, mean grill and rugged styling the Cuda is as American as baseball & rock n roll. With 426 cubic inches of Hemi steel under it’s hood will this mighty Mopar be crowned champion?
