The battle between the Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird dates back to the late 1960s when all three factory muscle cars were aiming to be the best. Ask just about any Ford guy which of the three is better and you’ll definitely get a different answer than that of a Chevy or Pontiac guy. But, is there justification in all arguments for which muscle car is the superior one? Well, we’ll let you determine that using the rather cheesy “1985 Motorweek” video above.

The 80s were not good for most vehicles, including America’s most popular muscle cars, however, that didn’t put a stop to inevitable rivalries. As you can see in the video above, though the wonder years were over for the major three muscle cars, the battle between them still ensued.
