Alex Stark is not your ordinary 14-year-old girl, in reality; she is one of us, a diehard motor head. At only 14 years old, she actually played a big part in the restoration of her 1971 Plymouth Duster. Her dad by trade restores classic cars, and together they worked as a father-daughter team, to build one of the nicest A-Body Mopars, we have seen in a long time. Together they have transformed what was once just a shell, and boxes full of parts, into the beautiful car that you see in the video.
Judging by the video, this is not your average restoration, Alex and her dad left no stone unturned. The attention to detail is amazing! Basically, it’s a full nut and bolt, and top to bottom restoration.
Every part and detail were addressed. The car is almost flawless, and the color combination is awesome. The idea and color combination for the Duster came from a miniature “Johnny Lightning” toy car that she had, and fell in love with it.
Check out the video, then ask yourself, How many other 14-year old kids have a car like this! Hell… We want this car! There aren’t even any adults who would frown on having this car in their garage.
Alex is one lucky girl, to have a dad with such skills and talent to build a car that many can only dream of owning. If you think she is satisfied with this car, think again, because after they finish her dad’s GTX, she wants a Plum Crazy and Panther Pink version to complete her collection.
