A recreated 1971 Dodge dealership will be one of the new features at this summer’s Chrysler Nationals, in Carlisle, PA. Take a trip back in time with this 1971 Retro Dealership. Lots of things were in play to kill the muscle car by 1971, but Chrysler wasn’t ready to throw in the towel, just like Beeney Motors. There will be newly restyled B-Bodies, the freshened up E-Bodies as well as the all-new Demon from Dodge. With any luck, they hope to cap off the display with some nice C-Bodies and maybe even a truck.

If you’re a Mopar fan, there’s nothing quite like the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA, anywhere else in the world. Expect over 2,100 vehicles from all eras of the Chrysler brand: classics, muscle cars, high-performance new models and more.

You’ll want to be there for the enormous showfield – organized by year, make and model; indoor displays; kids’ activities; industry guests; car and engine giveaways; and NHRA drag racing. Are you planning on some parts buying this year? Look no further! You’ll be amazed at the size of the swap meet, the variety of vendors, the car corral, and the Manufacturers Midway.

The theme for the 2011 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is “Performance.” However, they’re not just looking for a few bolt-ons; they want to display the ultimate in performance and to represent all eras. If you have a ’50s or ’60s hot rod, ’70s street machine, ’80s Pro Street, a modern Pro Touring/resto-mod or high-performance late model, this is your year.
