Ah, the time honored tradition of the burnout. There’s not a gearhead in the world that didn’t practice leaving j-hooks in their high school parking lot, and while we haven’t been in high school for a long time, burnouts still make us smile. We found this awesome burnout of Ryan “TexasMopars” Taylor’s ’75 Plymouth Duster equipped with a massive 452ci Wedge topped with a Six-Pack induction setup, and accompanied by the awesome sounds of 3-inch exhaust with a pair of Flowmasters.
The sound that the big Mopar makes alone is worth watching the video! The hoodscoop on the Duster appears to feed the Six Pack, but we’re guessing that the gigantic chin spoiler is intended to help keep the little A-Body planted at high speeds.
The video was produced by the Amarillo Area Mopars, an Amarillo, Texas based Mopar club. Their charter is to provide a place for Mopar fans of all year and flavor, and there is no cost or model restriction to join up.
They like to meet up with other members for local cruises, car shows, races, etc. and promote all things Pentastar based. Mopar owners in the area are encouraged to join up, be they nut-and-bolt restoration purists or pure hot rodders.
