Bradley Grey is known for fielding a family of supercharged drag and pro street cars referred to as the Blown Mafia. His latest Uomo D’onore is a ProCharged and supercharged 1956 Chevy truck.
Originally Grey began this project as a rat rod, however, the thought of expanding his Mafia and having another drag car intrigued him more and the 56 was transformed into a clean street machine. It is boasting plenty of personality with its drag racing stance, massive big block, drag tires and cherry red paint.
The big block mill inside of the ’56 is getting lots of boost in a unique way. The system works with the motor itself being supercharged by an 871, while the F2 ProCharger feeds the roots-type blower with cold air.
All of this power is harnessed and sent out to a Th350 transmission which runs to a Ford 9-inch rear. A hand made all metal center console, Mazda Miata seats and a T-Shirt featuring Grey’s Camaro that has been stitched into the ceiling to act as artwork are what greets the driver in the cab.
Grey (who looks and sounds a bit like Wooderson from Dazed and Confused) told ScottieDTV that he is planning on growing his Blown Mafia by transforming it into an exclusive car club. Much like the Five Families, not just anyone can join his club. Like the Italian Mafia you have to be invited by Grey himself, only after proving you will be active in the club. Grey doesn’t want any wild hooligans or any reckless drivers as part of his Mafia. He wants guys who will be good ambassadors to his brand. So our friends give your ears a treat by turning up the volume and enjoying the cacklefest at the end of the video. Arrivederci.
