Video: Billet Fuel Components From Holley

When the name Holley is mentioned, the most immediate thought that comes to everyone’s mind is “carburetor”. It stands to reason, because Holley has been making carburetors since 1903, with over 250,000,000 units produced. But in order to know carburetors so well, you also have to know fuel systems and fuel system components, and Holley is a leader in that department as well.

Always looking for ways to improve performance and to give enthusiasts choices when it comes to their own street machine, musclecar, or weekend warrior, Holley has also developed a line of fuel system components made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. These components are not only performance-minded, but also look great and can handle any and all of your fuel system needs.

The billet fuel filters are available in 10, 40 and 100 micron filter sizes and can handle carburetor or EFI applications, with a gallons-per-hour rate of 100 up to 260, depending on the filter and application. Their 10 micron filter has a replaceable depth media element, and the 40 and 100 micron filters have a reusable stainless steel mesh filter.

The billet inline electric fuel pumps have at least one feature that is unexpected: they’re very quiet! See the video above and compare the sound of a typical electric inline pump to the new billet fuel pump and you’ll hear the difference. But as stealth as they may sound, they’re truly performers for your street car or race car, with pumps that work for either carburetion or EFI.  The HP line of pumps are single pumps that can feed up to 1050 horsepower, and their Dominator line of pumps are dual pumps that can feed up an amazing 2100 horsepower.

The Dominator pumps can be run together full time, or for those who are staging or idling to and from the pits, one of the two pumps can be shut down when fuel needs are minimum. The second pump can be activated by a manual switch or through use of nitrous or boost, when fuel demands are increased. The ability to turn one pump off when staging or idling helps to decrease the fuel flow when it’s not needed, keeping the circulating fuel from excessive heat when demands are low. You can also tell by the images above that these fuel pumps are not tiny. These pumps are big, and they deliver big performance.

And to make sure your fuel is regulated properly, Holley’s billet fuel pressure regulators are designed for both carb and EFI applications, and can be used on a return or return-less fuel system.  The HP line has both bypass style and non-bypass style, and the Dominator line is a bypass style regulator for both carb and EFI. The EFI regulators have an additional vacuum port for manifold reference, and all regulators have a 1/8-inch NPT gauge port.

The anodized black body and bright dip anodized filters, pumps and regulators include one more thing that makes them dependable and reliable: the Holley name. To find out more about Holley’s billet line of fuel system components be sure to visit their web site, at Holley.com.
