There are plenty of contests, raffles, and charity auctions giving way all manner of automobiles the world over. Some cars are new, some are old, some are classics, and some are collectibles. That is all well and good, but how about giving away something that frankly most people probably don’t really want?
Art Mann Presents is holding a contest, where they’ll be giving away this deathtrap of a Camaro. Well, not giving away…one lucky winner will be able to buy this 1978 classic for $3.95…which might be a bit over price.
This car was apparently constructed by Art Mann and his crew, though our host doesn’t seem to know what engine is under the hood. Speaking of which, you need a coat hanger to pop open the hood on this bad boy. Also, there’s a faux-hoodscoop made of sheet metal, with holes drilled through them.
But at least it as a flat-black paintjob…until you open the doors and see the blue interior and unpainted door sills. The exhaust is apparently comprised of a motorcycle muffler, and we don’t know if those exhaust stacks are for real or just for looks. But it does come with bullhorns and a new battery, though the alternator killed said battery after just 20 minutes of driving. So, yeah. All that said, Art and his passenger seem to have a good time regardless, and isn’t that the point of the car hobby?
If you’re still on board, subscribe to Art Mann’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and tune in to find out how you could win this ridiculous Camaro.
