Video: Dakota Digital Installs New LED Tail Lights on a ’64 Impala

Upgrades are nice, but some people like the clean stock look when it comes to their classic cars. Fortunately, Dakota Digital has come up with a way to keep your stock looking tail lights but add safety and reliability to the lighting system with their new LED Taillights. Check out the video above to see how easy it is to install the LED replacement tail light kit on a ‘64 Impala.

Dakota Digital has been producing specialty electronic and quality instrumentation components for custom cars, trucks, motorcycles and off-road vehicles for the last 25 years.

This experience has allowed Dakota Digital to remain an industry leader and continue to offer great products to automotive enthusiasts nation wide.

One of the company’s latest products is their LED replacement tail light systems. These kits are easy to install and make use of your stock wiring harness, taillight lenses and assemblies. As you can see in the video above, installation only takes minutes and requires very few tools.

The result is a stock tail light look with the added brightness of LED light bulbs. This increases the safety of your vehicle with lights that can be seen more easily. As an added bonus, the LED tail lights run on eight to 18 volts, meaning you don’t have to worry about your tail lights dimming if you have your sound system or air conditioning cranked up.

Who would want to mess with the beautiful style of a classic Imapla? Thankfully you don't have to with Dakota Digital's LED replacement taillights

The new LED tail lights also have a much quicker response time than regular lighting systems, by 200 milliseconds to be exact. Now that may not sound like much, but that’s a 19-foot difference if you’re traveling 60mph.

Just like the majority of Dakota Digital’s products, the LED replacement tail light kits are manufactured in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That means you’ll be getting brighter, better tail lights that are completely made right here in the United States!

Be sure to check out the LED replacement tail light kits Dakota Digital has for a variety of applications, no matter if you’re replacing stock or aftermarket tail lights, on their website.
