When most of us were kids, our rides consisted of pedal cars that only went as fast as the energy we could produce. Decades later, the collective head-shake across this nation came about when kids started getting Power Wheels that resembled cool cars that we would like to own ourselves. We’ve seen some pretty nice Power Wheels cars that have been modded by a sometimes over-zealous father, and again we all wish we had a car and dad like that when we were kids.
How awesome is it to be the cool kid on the block with an upgraded Mustang or Corvette Power Wheels car of your very own to cruise the block in? We even saw one where a dad added the Eleanor treatment to his kids Mustang. When the C7 Power Wheels came out, it was said to be the fastest in the Fisher Price lineup.
Still, there’s not end to what a gearhead dad will do, and as you can see in the video above from Speed Society. Speed Society’s Josh Kalis seems to have hopped up his daughter’s C7 even more, and it appears he’s been giving her some serious drifting lessons. The three-year-old takes her C7 and drifts around some cans, and then much like the stunt drivers we’ve seen in countless videos, she slides her customized C7 into a tight 180, coming to rest between two cans.
It’s true, many of us live vicariously through our kids’ lives, allowing them to do what we never had the chance or opportunity to do when we were that age. Yeah, some kids have it all these days… a cool car, a cool dad, and YouTube to capture it all and share with the rest of us.
