Video: Forza 4 Flexes Some Serious American Muscle

The Forza Motorsports game series has been taking video gamers by storm since the first game was released in May of 2005. Hell bent on creating an automotive experience that was more realistic than ever, Forza created the fourth game in the series for Xbox 360, set to be released in just a few days. With more manufacturers, cars and courses, Forza 4 is offering even more for automotive enthusiasts. With companies like Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Pontiac and Plymouth in the line-up, muscle car fans won’t be disappointed with their car choices. With over 80 car manufacturers and hundreds of vehicles, Forza 4 will give players the ultimate choice in cars. With the official list of cars in Forza 4 being released at the end of September, we found out that the muscle car line-up will include a ‘69 Camaro SS, ‘70 El Camino SS and a‘64 Impala SS for Chevrolet. The Ford muscle cars include the ‘70 Boss 429 Mustang, ‘71 Mach 1, ‘78 King Cobra and ‘73 XB Falcon GT.

[4]With only one car each on the list, Oldsmobile will be represented by the ‘69 4-4-2 and Plymouth by the ‘71 426 HEMI ‘Cuda. Surprisingly, Pontiac will be represented by seven cars total, the two classic muscle cars being the ‘73 Trans Am- SD455 and the ‘69 GTO Judge.

The list of muscle cars isn’t limited to classics, however. An ‘04 Cadillac CTS-V, ‘02 and ‘10 Camaro SS models, ‘09 Corvette ZL1, ‘06 Z06, ‘09 Challenger SRT8, ’87 Buick Regal GNX, ‘93 SVT Cobra R, ‘02 Trans Am WS6 and a ‘06 GTO will give players some modern American muscle choices.

Additionally, several American race cars will also be available, including the #3 and #4 Corvettes, ‘66 Ford GT40 MKII, #4 IRWIN Racing FG Falcon and the ‘08 Viper Competition Coupe.

If you buy the game early, you can also get an American muscle car “Launch Pack” with a ‘70 Buick GSX, ‘66 Nova SS, ‘64 Fairlane Thunderbolt, ‘68 Dart HEMI Super Stock, ‘70 Cornet Super Bee, ‘67 Cornet W023, ‘68 Firebird, ‘65 GTO, ‘71 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI and ‘69 Shelby GT500 428CJ.

Set to give the Sony-created Gran Turismo a run for its money, Forza 4 is set to hit stores on October 11th.
