Every year some of the world’s wealthiest car enthusiasts gather for the annual “Bullrun” race across America. This no-holds-barred cross-country excursion sees an incredible lineup of European exotics, Japanese sport tuners, and of course American muscle. These days the whole race is broadcast via television, prompting even more of a response from race fans the world over.
This year is no exception, and tackling the dangerous race across America is the Team Wu Dodge Charger with a Vortech supercharger under the hood. Will it help out against the Ferraris and BMW’s of the competition?
We certainly think so, and so does Team Wu, who seems to have a preference for American automobiles in the Bullrun. As it turns out, Team Wu also likes to prank and punk the competition (though that has backfired on them when other competitors decided to put a boot on their Dodge Charger, costing them time and victory.)
With the Vortech supercharger on the HEMI V8 engine, this Charger R/T is good for well over 430 horsepower, which should help keep the competition in check. There are going to be plenty of other muscle cars competing in this year’s Bullrun, which premiered on MTV2 last night. But we know who we’ll be cheering for.
